University

Hello to anyone who might still actually read this. I doubt that there are actually many of you left! Helen was saying that she couldn't remember what she had done in the post week, I haven't blogged in a little longer than that so my memory is going to be rather full of holes!
I have been at university for 2 weeks now, and have had lectures for 1 week.
Today was interesting, I had the strangest lecturer ever. The course name is organizational behaviour, and thrilling it sounds too. Or not. But anyway we did nothing related to the course at all in the first hour. We were first asked to 'get into the zone', (the learning zone that is in case you wondered) by relaxing our shoulders, moving our neck, closing our eyes and remembering a time when we were truly motivated. You can imagine the sniggering going around the lecture theater at this point. So anyway there we all were with closed eyes peeking a look at our neighbours to insure that we aren't the only ones going along with this strange start to the lecture! So after reaching the zone, we were all ready and eager to commence. Ummm in theory. The guy then went on to explain that we all remembered things differently and that memory worked in different ways and that we had to describe what we remembered from receiving our A level results. This was followed by making a mini production line of paper folding, and the joys that come with this. But yes enough said about that lecture!

What to write about now? I am currently waiting for enough time to pass that I can go trampolining. I don't know who organised the times but it only starts at 7pm and finishes at the stupid time of 10pm. Its all very well if you live on campus but I have to get home and it is a long long way. But I don't mind the houses location too much because I like my room, and the people I live with are nice.
I went to my friends house for dinner the other evening which was nice. She made a lovely chicken lasagna which I must say is not a dish that I have ever come across before but nice all the same. She offered me a lift home in her lovely mini called rose, which is white and has a pink roof. We got half way back to mine to the bottom of the hill when rose obviously decided that it wasn't worth the effort of driving me home and so broke down. We had to push this mini into a suitable space in order to wait for the AA. As we were moving the car, a lovely lady passed us and invited us in for a cup of tea whilst we waited. For once the AA was very quick and we only waited 30 mins or so before they arrived. Rose then drove all the way up the hill quite happily!

I am going to grab a bite to eat now before trampolining starts, so bye bye, and I will try and blog more frequently. Ha! Like thats going to happen!
