Happy Easter

Hello everyone,
Well here I am at home in London! I went sight seeing in London on Tuesday ,to Harrods and Hamleys ! Both very important places, not that I bought anything there, but they are soooo pretty!! Hehe. And then the natural History museum for a bit of culture!
On Wednesday, I went to Harpingdon, which is somewhere near St Albans, to visit Tom. Its only half and hour by train from St Pancras, but it feels like he lives in the middle of nowhere! I am most definitely a city girl!
Can't remember what I did on Thursday but on Friday and Saturday my mum, my sister and myself went walking in Box Hill with Millie (the dog). It was very nice, but by Saturday evening I really wasn't feeling well, and this morning I woke up feeling terrible! I have the worst headache ever, and paracetamol isn't working. It's Sods Law that I should get ill whilst on holiday. Hopefully I shall make a full and very quick recovery, because I have no intention of feeling this yucky for very much longer! Despite the feeling ill, I still managed to go out into the garden to search for Easter eggs. However, my Easter bunny was nowhere to be found, and mum couldn't remember where she had hidden it! So we called in the expert noses of our young neighbour's, who soon sniffed out any remaining chocolate eggs including my Easter bunny!
But I shall leave you all now, and perhaps go back to bed although I have only been up for 2 hours. Have a great Easter weekend, and hopefully see most of you over the holidays.

Millie

Doggy Doo Daa

I blogged earlier but forgot the most exciting peice of news!!!!! We have a dog! She is a Jack Russel Terrier called Millie and is 4 months old.
I will attempt to load a picture of Millie for you all to see!

My weekend

Well it has been a while since I last posted, so I thought that I should update you all with my news! Not that there is much!
Well on Saturday I did a St John's Ambulance basic lifesaver course, which was lots of fun. We did CPR and things like that, so in the hopefully unlikely case that I should come across someone having a heart attack or an accident, I would be able to manage the incident and organize people, and administer first aid. I met some very nice people on the course, Kim being one of them. We came back to my kitchen and played darts. Unfortunately her skill was just too great and she won!
Last night I went to the plug (student bar on campus) with Tom, and we played babyfoot (table football). I won!!! Aren't I great!
There isn't much more to tell you all and I can't really think of anything else to ramble about, so I think that I am going to go get myself some breakfast.

Mother's day

Umm despite the title I am not going to be writing about mother's day. I just thought that I should point out that it is today, and if you haven't rung your mum yet, then ring her quick!
Well what am I going to tell you lovely people about? Well on Friday evening 9 of us trampolining club people piled into a minibus and went to Portsmouth because the following day we had a trampoline competition in Southampton. Sleeping bags on the floor really aren't very comfortable, and not enough sleep was had, but no matter, many of us finished our night at the competition. Sleeping bags are very useful because you can get them out anywhere including university sports halls, curl up in them and fall asleep ;-) .
So anyway, Saturday was the day of the competition, and I competed in the intermediate category. My set routine went well, and then the dilemma came, should I put a back somersault into my voluntary routine, or should I stick to a full turn?! Keep in mind here that 2 days ago I hadn't done any back summies on my own before, but that 2 days later I was thinking about competing with one! I did put it in, and although it wasn't the best one in the world, I got a tremendous sense of achievement from having done it. So anyway, I came 14th out of 45 in my category, and our intermediate team came 2nd! So I got a medal! Wooooo. hehe.
that's all for the minute, I am still recovering from last night, cos when I got home Emily convinced me that I should go to the campus bar with her and her friend where she proceeded to get me quite drunk. Not good! But anyway, that's all for now, so bye bye!!!
